| European Schoolnet uses OpenID for most of its websites and services. You can register on several EUN science education Communities, using the same account with a single OpenID login. OpenID allows you to access latest information and to share your stories and best practices on the Nanoyou Schools’ Community, Scientix and the International Year of Chemistry websites. Nanoyou: Becoming a member of this community will allow teachers to exchange best practices and learn more from their peers on how to teach nanotechnologies and nanoscience in school using the Nanoyou resources. The Nanoyou Community will soon offer online activities to train you at home or at school to become familiar with Nano teaching. Scientix: Scientix is the community for science education in Europe. It was created to facilitate regular dissemination and sharing of know-how and best practices in science education across the European Union. The Scientix Community has a forum and a chat. In the forum, members can join discussions about the latest initiatives in science education. Also, there are separate discussions for each project and country. The chat tool is a way for community members to interact directly with other users. The Global Water Experiment of IYC: Through the Global Chemistry Experiment ‘Water: A Chemical Solution’ students will explore the chemistry of water and the role of water in society and the environment. Teachers may register themselves and their schools to join the Project and they can also download activities. Teachers can share their stories and experiences using the fora. Data obtained with students when carrying out the experiments can be uploaded to contribute to the global data collection. How to create an OpenID?
