TEACHING

teaching-maths-photoSince its founding in 1997, European Schoolnet has used its links with education ministries to help schools make effective use of educational technologies. We have coordinated or participated in more than 100 European projects, involving teachers, schools, universities, research institutes, industry partners and other organisations involved in education.

As a teacher, you can benefit from the resources and experience, we have acquired: there is wealth of materials, guidelines, events and tools to enhance your teaching practice.

The European Schoolnet's Future Classroom Lab offers a fully equipped, reconfigurable, teaching and learning space developed in association with leading educational technology providers. Regular workshops, seminars and courses for teachers, experts, policy makers and ICT suppliers are organised on how existing and emerging technologies can have a transformative effect on teaching and learning processes.

In December 2013 we decided to launch the European Schoolnet Academy to build on these successful experiences and make our training opportunities available to a greater number of primary and secondary school teachers across Europe (www.europeanschoolnetacademy.eu).

As primary or secondary school teacher, you can benefit from the online professional development courses that we are about to launch in the European Schoolnet Academy to learn about innovation in the school and classroom, and enhance your teaching practice. Learn more on the European Schoolnet Academy and sign up for the courses, pre-registration are open!

Participate in shaping tomorrow's education. Four ways to get involved:

Get support

One of our goals is to identify and develop good practice guidelines in teaching and education policy. The results take the form of handbooks, recommendations or reports to help teachers and headmasters navigate through the emerging trends in education technology and innovative pedagogies.
