Webinar outline:

During this webinar, the participants are introduced to the Ark of Inquiry project’s inquiry learning model, and how they can access more than 700 inquiry learning activities for classroom use on the project’s portal. Participants are strongly encouraged to register on the Ark of Inquiry portal prior to the webinar here: www.arkportal.eu. The recommendations and guidelines for teachers that Ark of Inquiry has developed will be presented briefly during the webinar.

About the presenters:

Ms Bohatka is a Project Officer in the Science Unit at the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, based in Venice, Italy, which implements the Ark of Inquiry project on behalf of the organisation. UNESCO is the work package leader for dissemination and exploitation of the project outcomes, including leading the organisation of the project’s final conference and drafting the Final Recommendations and Guidelines.

Mr Brikker is a Project Specialist and trainer of pre-service and in-service teachers at the University of Tartu, Estonia, specialising in training activities and project work on the topics of inquiry-based science education and educational technology. The University of Tartu is the project coordinator for the Ark of Inquiry project and the work package leader for the methodology and instruments for evaluating Ark of Inquiry.
