image The present report has been commissioned by European Schoolnet, aiming to bring innovation in teaching and learning across education systems. Such transformation of education processes for 21st century digitalized societies is done by identifying and testing promising innovative practices, sharing evidence about their impact, and supporting the mainstreaming of teaching and learning practices aligned with 21st century standards for inclusive education.

European Schoolnet turned to FBK-IRVAPP to be provided with a 2nd level analysis of TALIS 2018 data in key areas of EUN interest, and find systematic and structured answers to several substantial issues. Highlighting possible interrelations between the topics addressed and building a coherent analysis was the main objective. Throughout the entire analysis, besides the intensity of continuous professional development (CPD), induction, mentoring experiences, innovative teaching practices, and students’ assessment methods, a special emphasis has been placed on activities and capabilities related to the use of ICT in teaching (ICT).
