Technology is everywhere. It shapes the rhythm of our daily life and plays a core role in it. Although they are an integral part of our routine, many still find it difficult to master them. Digital SkillUp aims to make basic knowledge of emerging technologies available and accessible to citizens and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

For this report, documentary research was conducted to map, analyse and evaluate the data collected on emerging technologies. This research identified an increased need for training related to them. In this report, we can also observe technology trends and their impact on society and the economy. Besides, it also allows us to assess the current status of online training available in Europe. The desk research was complemented by interviews with experts and a survey on e-learning to help refine the analysis of the training landscape and the skills needs of SMEs and citizens.
