image This short publication shares the common vision of Europeana and European Schoolnet on the role of cultural heritage in education. It also discusses the mission and achievements of the collaboration between Europeana and European Schoolnet during the 2018-2019 academic year and presents the upcoming activities of the Europeana DSI-4 project for the new academic year.

Europeana is Europe’s platform for digital cultural heritage. It currently provides free access to ca. 58 million cultural records coming from thousands of museums, libraries, archives and audio-visual collections across Europe. Learners of all ages can find images, texts, audio files, videos, or 3D content on anything from art and science, in over 37 languages. A big part of its collections - over 20 million items is openly licensed and can be freely reused in education.
