The TeLLNet project aimed to understand better the construct of teacher networks and how they can offer informal ways to support teachers' competence building and personal and professional development.

The project Teachers' Lifelong Learning Network TeLLNet studied the eTwinning network, which at the time included about 180,000 teachers, through visualisation techniques, Social Network Analysis (SNA) and prospective scenario building exercises. Using these techniques, the project aimed to identify the main structures, actors, networks, and Communities of practice that are effective in sharing practices, encouraging innovation and creativity at schools and engaging new members.
