NanOpinion project built an online portal offering a repository of the best resources on nanotechnologies from all of Europe. The portal offered new content from top media partners from 4 different countries, a virtual lab to perform research, and sections for online debates.

It included surveys, social media and informed dialogue events in public spaces such as science centers and shopping centers from 30 EU countries, in urban and rural areas and reaching marginalized communities and social groups.

Nanopinion also worked with scientists and teachers to develop educational materials and online mini courses and to run events in schools from 10 different EU countries. Nanopinion aimed to distill recommendations for policy-makers on future engagement with nanotechnologies.
