ENABLE

The European Network Against Bullying in Learning and Leisure Environments (ENABLE) was a two-year project co-funded by DG Justice, built on social research to create a blended social and emotional learning (SEL) and peer-training programme for students aged 11-14, school staff and parents.

ENABLE aimed to combat bullying by fostering empathy and improved online and offline social interactions. Six core partners are rolling out the project in five languages (EN, FR, NL, DA, EL, HR) under the guidance of an international think tank and with the official support of Facebook, Twitter, and ASKfm. Actions included a hackathon, an online course (MOOC) and a book for the broader public.
