Since its founding in 1997, European Schoolnet has used its links with education ministries to help schools make effective use of educational technologies. We have coordinated or participated in more than 150 European projects, involving teachers, schools, universities, research institutes, industry partners and other organisations involved in education.

As a teacher you can directly benefit from the resources and expertise gained through our various projects: there is a wealth of materials, guidelines, training opportunities, events and tools to enhance your teaching practice.

European Schoolnet's Future Classroom Lab offers a fully equipped, reconfigurable, teaching and learning  space developed in association with leading educational technology providers. Regular workshops, seminars and courses for teachers, experts, policy makers and ICT suppliers are organised on how existing and emerging technologies can have a transformative effect on teaching and learning processes. Find out more here.

To build on these successful experiences and make our training opportunities available to a greater number of teachers and educational professionals across Europe, we created the European Schoolnet Academy; Europe's first MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) platform offering high quality free online professional development courses tailored specifically to the needs of teachers and the wider education community.
