European Schoolnet Observatory is intended to highlight evidence in the area of innovation in education, especially:

1. statistics evidence (e.g. Survey of Schools: ICT in Education)
2. evidence from practice (and policy)
3. evidence from research (e.g. KeyCoNet literature review)

European Schoolnet Observatory is primarly designed to provide evidence about the use of technology to improve teachin and learning for decision makers in Ministries of Education, practitioners in schools and other ICT in education professionals at national, regional or local level across Europe. 

Briefing Papers, published monthly, are at the core of European Schoolnet Observatory. Briefing Papers aim to present the findings of the Survey of Schools: ICT in Education on a specific topic and to relate them to the results of European Schoolnet projects on the topic.

Browse our Insight website for information, news and analysis in three core areas of eLearning: policy, school innovation and interoperability. The Insight website is also the main hub for Country Reports on ICT in education. These are updated annually with Ministries of Education in 28 countries according to a common framework provided by European Schoolnet. They are in-depth descriptions of national developments in five core areas: 1) The Education Context; 2) ICT Policy; 3) The Curriculum and ICT; 4) Digital Learning Resources and Services; 5) Teacher Education for ICT.
