With the start of the academic year, STEM Alliance is happy to launch its Back to School campaign, which aims at facilitating the relationship between industries and schools in order to provide a variety of opportunities to engage young people in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

From 26 to 27 September 2016, European Schoolnet is organizing the Educational Repositories Network, entitled ‘Open Education: Promoting Diversity for European Languages' in Brussels, Belgium.

The European Coding Initiative, along with the European Schoolnet's Future Classroom Lab ambassadors and Learning Labs' network, will hold an international hackathon on 20th of October, where teams from schools and learning labs across Europe and beyond will have the chance to build and share their projects.

The sixth edition of the Better Internet for Kids (BIK) bulletin has been published and this time it focuses on the importance of media and information literacy. As today we get most of our information through an interwoven system of media technologies and web content, the ability to read many types of media is more topical than ever.

Every year the eTwinning community recognises and awards the best projects as part of the annual European eTwinning Prize Competition. This year the eTwinning members celebrated the outstanding work of educators and pupils with six eTwinning Prize Winners Events.
