What is the workshop about?
The TASK project developed an online self-assessment tool for students to assess their key competences. In the first part of the workshop, you will get an introduction to the project’s key area: key competences and their assessment. You will learn more about the project and be the first one to test the new self-assessment tool. Further, you will receive guidance on how you can use the tool with your students.
In the second part, participants will get the opportunity to learn more about European Schoolnet projects in general and how they can participate. They will get a guided tour of European Schoolnet’s Future Classroom Lab, where the workshop will take place. The Future Classroom Lab is a physical space that demonstrates how learning spaces can be easily reorganised to support changing styles of teaching and learning.
The participation to the workshop is for free. The workshop language is English. Train tickets to and from Brussels will be reimbursed. Participants will receive a workshop certificate. An official invitation letter can be provided upon request.
What is the TASK self-assessment tool about?
Students can use it to self-assess 3 different Key Competences: Digital Competence, Competence in their Mother Tongue and Competence in Foreign Languages.
The tool is available in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Turkish.
We want to invite you to test the tool once with your students!
Period for testing: 1 February – 15 March. With your feedback, we will improve the tool.
Who can participate?
Every secondary school teacher & Head teacher in Belgium that is interested in testing a new self-assesment tool with his students.
You are not living in Belgium or are not available on 24 January?
In that case, we kindly invite you to participate in our online consultation to learn more about the tool and give feedback. You will be invited to an introductory webinar, where you will get all the information you need. The same introductory webinar will take place twice: Monday, 23 January, 17:30 pm CET & Wednesday, 25 January, 17:30 pm.
