"Designing the future classroom" - What can we expect?

"Designing the future classroom" Nº2 is now published! The magazine presents the results of iTEC, a 4-year project that has been piloted in over 2,500 classrooms across 20 European countries, on designing the future classroom.

For the past four years, the iTEC project has been working to provide a sustainable model for fundamentally redesigning teaching and learning. Ended in August 2014, iTEC involved 26 project partners, including 14 Ministries of Education, and funding of €9.45 million from the European Commission’s FP7 programme.

The newly released "Designing the future classroom" Nº2 magazine presents the results of iTEC and much more! Available in five languages, it includes stories from teachers and project partners, as well as a preview to the iTEC school pilot results and training activities, including the Future Classroom Scenarios course.

The main topci of interest includes:

  • School experiences with Future Classroom Scenarios
  • Teacher training – a key element for innovation
  • Scaling up best practice in schools
  • Beyond iTEC
