Over the past 30 years, Erasmus+ and its preceding programmes have helped millions of people to improve their chances to learn a new language, develop fresh perspectives on their field of study, gain a clearer idea of European citizenship, find a job, or discover their passion for volunteering.
Currently the Erasmus+ Programme provides annual funding of €2.1 billion divided among education and training (82.9%), youth (10%), sport (1.8%) and other activities (5.3%). Discover different funding opportunities for schools such as learning mobility for school education staff and strategic partnerships in the field of education, training and youth.
Throughout the year, there will be a number of events held all over Europe depicting the story of the last 30 years: celebrations, conferences, debates, dialogues, exhibitions and forums. More events will be organised at local level and the EU is looking for people's own initiatives to celebrate European exchange. Share your event and keep yourself informed by subscribing to the newsletter.
