The Go-Lab project nominated for the 2016 .eu Web Awards!

The Go-Lab project, which opens up online science laboratories (remote and virtual labs) for large-scale use in school education, has been nominated for the 2016 .eu Web Awards! European Schoolnet is a proud partner of the Go-Lab project, which is coordinated by the University of Twente, in the Netherlands.

The .eu Web Awards (webawards.eurid.eu) is an online competition, launched in 2014, that awards outstanding website projects in the .eu and .ею web domains. The Go-Lab project (www.go-lab-project.eu) is nominated for the "Laurels" category, devoted to the websites of institutions such as schools, training programs, and charitable organisations, promoting ongoing education and/or pan European projects.

The nominees will be evaluated by a jury of distinguished representatives from various European stakeholders. They will select one winner in each category on the basis of a number of evaluation criteria, such as website content, structure, navigation, and functionality, as well as visual design and accessibility. Nominations are open to all sites, be they an established national business, a start-up, a green initiative promoter, an educational institution or an entertainment blog.

The winners of this award will be announced at the .eu Web Awards Gala ceremony in Brussels, Belgium, on 16 November 2016.
