Get trained in February on a new protocol to assess the scientific skills of your pupils

Life Science and STEM teachers are invited to join the 6th Distance Learning Activity "Testing Scientific Skills: Exploring a Protocol to Construct Exam Questions to Assess Scientific Skills" which will take place online between February 29th and March 4th 2016.

The activity, part of the Amgen Teach project, is 5 days-long, intensive learning session, involving webinars, discussions, videos, documents, etc. Aimed at science teachers in secondary education, this opportunity is open to all.

The upcoming distance learning activity is developed by Jordi Domènech-Casal who has been leading the EduWikiLab platform for teachers since 2011.The expert will present a protocol, created by him and a group of teachers, which aims to assess the scientific competence skills. As scientific skills are challenging to assess, the protocol will present a number of exam questions which can give teachers good guidance on how to apply the framework in their classroom.

After completion of the course the participants will receive a certificate of participation.
