The annual Code Week is approaching fast! With the aim to bring together organisations and individual coders from across Europe and to encourage people to get try out coding, the campaign promises a lot of fun events in the week 10-18 October.

As part of this year's Code Week, the European Coding Initiative is organising a high-level event in Brussels on Monday 12 October. The event will gather representatives from the European Commission, Ministries of Education, ICT companies and the civil society, along with young people and entrepreneurs, join together as advocates for teaching and learning how to code within education systems across Europe.

In line with its strong commitment to diversity in education, the European Coding initiative created a Toolkit for teachers  with tips on how to organize events in the classroom and a list of fun coding activities that can be done with students and pupils. The European Coding initiative also launched a grassroots campaign to popularize the art of coding and programming languages – to give your support to the Initiative follow this link: https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/31982-european-coding-initiative?locale=en
