Take part in the Scientix survey about STEM practices

Scientix invites teachers in secondary education, who teach at least one class of students from the ages of ten to over nineteen, to contribute to a new multilingual survey about teaching practices in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education.

The results of this survey will be published as part of the Scientix Observatory before the end of 2018. The main objective of this survey is to assess the current practices of STEM teachers and how they organise their teaching practices, including which pedagogical approaches and resources are used by teachers and students and to what extent ICT is integrated in the teaching process. The survey also evaluates the need for specific teacher training. The survey is completely anonymous, but if participants in this survey choose to do so, they can opt-in for a case study with more information.

Anyone who wishes to contribute to this survey can choose the language he or she is most comfortable with, as the survey is available in 25 different languages. They are: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Serbian, Slovenian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

This questionnaire is supported by Scientix, the community for science education in Europe, and Texas Instruments Education Technology GmbH, and has been developed by EUN Partnership AISBL in collaboration with Deloitte SAS. All anonymous data collected via this survey will be made freely available online with open access.
