Third Scientix Conference to be held in Brussels this weekend

Svein Sjøberg, Professor of Science Education at Oslo University, and Beth Healey, a medical doctor who is an expert on space and extreme environments, International Space University, London, and former ESA MD on Spaceflight Analogue Concordia, are keynote speakers at the Third Scientix Conference, which will be held in Brussels, Belgium, 4 to 6 May 2018.

Over 340 participants are expected to gather for the conference this weekend, including teachers, policymakers, researchers and project managers, making it one of the major STEM education networking events in Europe this year.

Following a call for papers, the organisers of the conference have selected proposals for 20 exhibition stands, 25 poster sessions, 56 presentations and 14 workshops. In addition, there are 6 round table discussions scheduled at the conference.

The organisers are also very happy to welcome two special guests who will address the opening and closing sessions of the conference: <strong>Jean-David Malo</strong>, European Commission, Director - Directorate B - Open Innovation and Open Science, DG Research and Innovation, European Commission, and <strong>Evarist Bartolo</strong>, Minister for Education and Employment, Malta.
