Media Literacy Champion Training of Trainers Course at EUN's Future Classroom Lab.

The Media Literacy Champion Training of Trainers Course took place from 26-28 June 2024 in Brussels bringing together more over 20 teachers from all over Europe.

The three-day course was organised as a part of the Media Literacy Case for Educators (MLCE), a two-year project co-funded by the European Union and coordinated by Tactical Teach, in collaboration with European Schoolnet,  International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA),  Save the Children (Italy).

Hosted by European Schoolnet at the Future Classroom Lab, the Media Literacy Champion Training of Trainers Course offered a series of comprehensive sessions on critical topics such as persuasive design, artificial intelligence, and the tech impact on wellbeing. The course was meticulously designed to provide a deep understanding of these subjects, equipping teachers with practical tools and strategies to implement in their classrooms. One of the highlights of the first day was the ‘Everywhere, All the Time' exhibition, which provided an immersive experience into the pervasive influence of digital technologies in everyday life.

The course was a notable success, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants. Many praised the course for its insightful content, practical approach, and the opportunity to collaborate with fellow educators. The event successfully fostered a vibrant community of educators dedicated to advancing media literacy education across Europe.

MLCE project has three objectives:
