The European Schoolnet Academy recently hosted three webinars as part of its 4th Thematic Seminar on the topic of teacher professional development in the age of AI. The webinar series concluded with the launch of the report, " Professional Development for Teachers in the Age of AI." This report provides an overview of crucial considerations and actionable ideas regarding AI integration within teacher professional development.

The report addresses the pressing need for educators to adapt to the challenges and opportunities presented by the rise of AI. From prioritising key areas in professional development to leveraging AI tools effectively, the analysis provides valuable insights for teacher trainers and educators alike.

Authored by experts in the field, including Mutlu Cukurova, Professor of Learning and Artificial Intelligence at University College London, and Lidija Kralj, Senior Education Analyst at European Schoolnet, this collaborative effort highlights the importance of tailored curricula and continuous adaptation in the age of AI.
