Chromebook pilot – Workshop 2

Location: Brussels

Country: Belgium

Organizer: European Schoolnet

Type of event: workshop

Target groups:

Topic: Innovation

Language of event: English

The workshop is the second one organised for the teachers and school leaders taking part in the Chromebook Research & Professional Development Programme supported by Google and Acer. The programme uses the Future Classroom Toolkit to support teachers in adopting innovative forms of teaching & learning with the use of Chromebooks. In parallel, an evaluation of the use of Chromebooks and the opportunities and challenges for teachers in using them in the classroom is being conducted.

In this second workshop small focus groups will work on topics arising from the questionnaires run among the participants. They will evaluate together the success of achieving their scenarios and use the insights gained from the evaluation to further improve the activities that fulfil the pedagogical vision. They will work on a set of final activities and lesson resources that can be shared with other colleagues who are using Chromebooks. The participation in this workshop is by invitation only.
